Your initial appointment

This is something that will be ongoing. We have had great success with children and families waiting in their own environment in their cars during COVID and we will continue this practice permanently going forward.

Please text rather than phone us so we can reply when Dr Pippa is ready for you.  You may like to add our phone number to your phone to make it easier (0490 327 014). This is aimed at minimising the number of people in the waiting room and anxiety associated with waiting for appointments in an unfamiliar environment.

What to bring to your appointment

• Your child/patient

  (PLEASE NOTE: your child must attend the appointment with Dr Pippa if you intend to claim the medicare rebate. If there are matters you would like to discuss with your child, please let Dr Pippa know and she can adapt the appointment. If you would like a parent only appointment - this is of course possible by contacting admin prior to your appointment, however a medicare rebate will not be available for adult only appointments.)

• A list of issues & questions for Dr Pippa so you can get the most out of your appointment

• Any previous medical reports, paediatrician or specialist consultation letters should be emailed at least 1 week prior to your appointment to gpcs@healthecare.com.au

• Any previous Allied health/therapy reports and letters (Speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitian, others) should be emailed at least 1 week prior to your appointment to gpcs@healthecare.com.au

• Any previous school letters/counsellor reports or preschool letters should be emailed at least 1 week prior to your appointment to gpcs@healthecare.com.au

• X-rays and other scans should be emailed at least 1 week prior to your appointment to gpcs@healthecare.com.au

• Blood and other investigation results (pathology reports) should be emailed at least 1 week prior to your appointment to gpcs@healthecare.com.au

• Your child’s Blue Book (or equivalent of birth record and early childhood record) especially for infants and toddlers.

Parking & Access:

There is undercover parking available (Max height 1.8) to patients on site by pressing Button 4 and then the Bell button on the entry keypad at the boom gate. There is lift access from the car park- we are located on ground level.
